Welcome to the New Jerusalem COGIC Music Department We would like to welcome you to one of the most powerful and blessed ministries within this church. our primary goal is to encourage those that hear us and win the lost to the kingdom of God through music . Our voices are the tools that we use to bring forth the word of God through song. It is our endeavor to minister in music with excellence, lifting up a standard unto God.

Our mission is to provide a comprehensive music program that ministers to the entire church through music leadership for wall worship services, choirs, programs, assemblies, and various meetings within the church. The objective of the ministry is to develop and strengthen every church member¹s relationship with Christ. Faithfully, we will also help others discover the covenant relationship of praise,worship, and sacred music.

In this department we have an outstanding Praise and worship team which is known all over the state of Alaska and beyond, for helping congregations enter into worship. God has blessed New J with these gifts and talents. We do not only sing within the walls of our church, but we go outside the walls with our praise and worship.

We also have a great Choir. Here is where you can develop your vocal skills and abilitiies. Again we not only sing within our walls, but we go outside the walls of the church witnessing through music.

This is an exciting time for the body of Christ. In this ministry we desire to be used by God. We sing not because it¹s popular, but we sing to glorify the Lord. We worship to come closer to God. We praise him for he only is worthy.
